The government has launched India's first deep-tech startup policy, aiming to support 100 deep-tech startups and mobilize ₹100 crore in investments ¹
². They're also setting up semiconductor manufacturing parks in Sulur and Palladam, and footwear parks in Melur and Cuddalore, generating 10,000 jobs each
