Here are some key concepts that left a deep impact mind
We often look up to founders like Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk with admiration.
However, most of the time, we fail to notice the founders right in our own backyard who are building extraordinary, world-class companies.
I experienced this very same sentiment when I listened to a podcast conversation between Ganesh Shankar—Co-founder and CEO of 'Responsive'—and Radha Lakshmi—Founder and CEO of 'Spikra Pvt Ltd'.
As someone currently building a startup myself, many of the insights Ganesh Shankar shared from his decade-long entrepreneurial journey struck me not merely as advice, but as mantras for founders.
Here are a few key takeaways that left a deep impression on my mind:
1. Focus completely on just one thing; strive to be the absolute best at it.
2. Do not hesitate to ask for help; do not be shy.
3. Customers are paramount; therefore, focus on acquiring new customers.
4. Build a phenomenal team that is fully aligned with your company's vision.
5. Do not get bogged down by the unnecessary noise or hype that surrounds you.
I firmly believe that the quality of the answers received depends entirely on the quality of the questions asked; in this regard, Radha Lakshmi did an excellent job of framing questions that elicited highly meaningful and profound insights. Many of the questions she posed were, in fact, questions that I—as a founder myself—often ponder.
Witnessing founders who have emerged from our very own ecosystem build world-class companies is deeply inspiring; at the same time, it serves to keep us grounded in reality.
