Although there are many differences in lifestyle between rural and urban people, humanity is still rooted in many places.

Village People: Love and Lifestyle

The real strength of a village is the people who live there. The bond that people have with each other determines the identity of that village.

1. Kinship Bonds

Village people in rural areas often know each other well. Calling them by their kinship (grandfather, aunt, brother) is their specialty. Even today, we can see that the village functions as a big family in many villages, even if there is no blood relationship.

2. Unity and Festivals

Village festivals are a platform that expresses the unity of the people.

Festivals: Everyone comes together to hold a chariot race and give food donations, which makes the village happy.

Sharing: If something is special in a house, the village will come together to help.  Likewise, they are not lazy in giving their shoulder to sorrows.

3. Relationship between work and land

The characteristics of the people depend on the work they do:

Agricultural people: They wake up early in the morning and work, and they have a lot of hospitality. They willingly feed the guests who come.

Weavers or artisans: They have a lot of artistry and patience.

4. Changing modern times

In today's modern world, there have been slight changes in the bond between the villagers as people migrate to the cities for education and employment. However, when they come together again during the holidays, it is possible to feel that the old affection has not changed.

Note: Getting to know the villagers is not just about collecting information; it is about seeing and experiencing their culture, food and giving spirit firsthand.!
